You may already be aware that if you book your tickets early and you can get cheaper train fares, but the cheap train tickets don’t hang around long. So in order to ensure you get the bargains you need to book your tickets specifically 12 weeks in advance of travel.
The reason for this is that Network Rail set the timetable exactly 12 weeks in advance and this is usually when tickets are made available.
